RinkWise™ · Effective November 3, 2026
The short version: RinkWise doesn’t collect, store or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking.
RinkWise is made by Lucas Carson. It’s a free tool to help new players, kids and adults, learn where to be on the ice.
The app remembers a few settings so you don’t have to pick them every time:
These settings stay in your browser or in the app on your device. They are never sent to us or anyone else. Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app deletes them.
The app also saves its own files on your device so it works at the rink without a signal.
The lettering in the app is loaded from Google Fonts. Like any website request, this sends your device’s IP address and basic browser details to Google, which handles them under the Google Privacy Policy. After the first visit, the fonts are saved on your device.
The website is hosted by Netlify. Like most web hosts, Netlify may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the time of each visit, to run and protect the site. We don’t use those logs to identify anyone.
RinkWise is made for new hockey players of any age, including kids, and their families. It doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, we’ll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
